I went to Starbucks with Jessica and then food shopping. I found out that the frappuccino lights are 18 g of carbs (made with half splenda and half sugar). I got the mocha light frappuccino, tall and a Fiesta Salad to go. I had wanted to stop at Alstede Farm to walk around and show Jessica the peaches, raspberries and strawberries but it was way too hot. While we were at Starbucks, I had two chains (one 14K and one 925) repaired for broken clasps. I looked at the baby/kid jewelry at the store. I do have 2 pairs of earrings for Jessica (a gold baby one with diamond chips and a gold kid one that looks like gold bows with heart shaped peridots hanging under the bows). I would like to get us matching initials in white gold someday with diamonds in it (a J for Jessica and a K for me).

I'm okay but somewhere off Ridge Road a deer isn't. It ran out in front of the truck (from a thick bushy area) between 10 and 20 feet in front of me. I did brake as hard as I could but there wasn't all that much stopping room (and also maybe trucks don't stop too quickly). So I'd hit a deer (not enough to stop the truck or to kill the deer, right away anyway - it got to the other side of the bushes - but I do know I hit it because I heard the thump and felt a bump). When I got out at Mt Olive station stop to look at the front of my car, all you see is a crack (not huge) in part of the grill and some deer hairs on the grill (no blood, just some short hairs). I'm shaken up.
