chocolate ice cream

Seriously this is the best ice cream I have ever made! (and I did it without my ice cream maker...with exception to the cooling tub) I made this yesterday and will make it again for my party!

Nachos classic appetizer from Jefferson Diner

I got this to go to share with my family. It was really good! It was kind of more like a salad with mexican toppings. Could stand a little more beef on top but the taste was actually really good the way it was (definitely an appetizer and not quite a meal).

The giving out the ice cream let me pick 2! (he's my contact in receiving for asset tags for receivings on purchase order items for my company in this building). Yea! (save one for another time)

What beef polenta pie does to my numbers:

2 points higher than before lunch.

Yeah I know it's not sugar free...but I'd rather have less and be happy than have a whole lot of sugar free ones and wishing they tasted normal! So 4 regular jelly beans is about 5 grams of carbs (rather have 4 regular than like 20 sugar free ones though...quality is always more important than quantity in my book! ). My company is giving out free ice cream at 2 though so I won't have any until another time.

technical difficulties with dyed leopard print shoes

These shoes are still in very good condition even though they are older...except that the leopard print is rubbing off of the calf hairs!! Do I get rid of them because the leopard has lost its spots or do I try to find a place (spend money and time) and get it either fixed or re-dyed another color??

Sephora Beauty Insider birthday gift 2009

I think I am set with lip glosses for awhile. It turns out all three colors will look good on me likely! (amazingly most colors but too dark ones look good...even bright colors) Note: it's redemable 2 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after the birthday. My birthday actually isn't until Labor Day weekend!

Free Shopping!

I did free shopping today. I picked up items and didn't pay a penny. I went to Sephora where I have a Beauty Insider club card and picked up my free birthday gift for 2009 which is a set of 3 mini lip glosses (I rarely finish a full sized lip gloss anyway since I get bored) and then off to Godiva where I have the Chocolate Rewards and get a free chocolate every month (both require NO purchases). This is the best shopping :)

My lowest fasting number ever. I don't understand how I got this. I ate doughnuts and ice cream last night, had a headache and gas and had to take a nasty dump that didn't come out until I passed enough gas and then heartburn too!! (common for me after eating doughnuts) I was so sick my husband put Jessica to bed so I could go to bed early because I felt disgusting. But wow, look at that number!!

Too good to be true?? The package says 100 calories for a package of 3 mini cakes and it touts 4 g fiber for the strawberry ones and 5 grams fiber for the chocolate ones!

Like I know I took an extra walk to the bank to get money this morning after the Light Rail and before work and I power walked...but could it make my number higher like this? Maybe a component of that and something else??

Dylan's Candy Bar

I love the light, not overpowering scent of Dylan's Candy Bar Lip Savers. Wished I had one in Chocolate Cupcake scent too. For that matter, wished I had one of those nice swirly lollipops that Dylan's Candy Bar makes!! (too bad they didn't make lip gloss that looks like one of those lollies and smells and tastes like it too!)

I use this hair mask deep conditioner as a regular conditioner. So far I really like it.

Chef 81 for mom's 60th

We took my mom out to late lunch/early dinner at Chef 81 Chinese restaurant in Lake Hiawatha NJ (great food). We gave her a Kate Spade pink patent leather clutch wallet for her 60th birthday gift. Nice!!

Seriously I was going to get the blue Doris Large Hobo croco texture bag but then I thought I should get something for once that goes with more outfits. So I thought maybe the black patent Sarah Hobo with the ruffles and zippered edges but then I wasn't sure I'd use it past the season (nice but maybe too trendy and didn't think it was 100% me). So I decided on this one because I could see myself using this for more than one season and I love it!!
