Betty & Veronica

I'm not really a comic book girl but the only comic I loved as a child was the Archie and Betty & Veronica comics. The comic is about Betty the sweet next door neighbor to Archie and savy, rich Veronica trying to win Archie's affections. The new series of 6 issues coming out starting in September answers the age old question who Archie chooses (Veronica, the brunette). The first issue he proposes to her. I did decide to order the 6 issue collection (at a discount for early ordering). Honestly I always viewed Archie as kind of a loser but I also liked other characters such as Reggie and Jughead.

Natural Deli in Jersey City NJ - Combo #4 sandwich

My favorite sandwich in the Pavonia-Newport area where I work (from Natural Deli). It's about a foot long and has prosciutto, salami, provolone, sun dried tomatoes and lettuce inside. You get the sandwich, a drink and chips all for 6.37 (that's with the tax). I can only finish half the sandwich at a time! (and save the rest for later or the next day). They even slice the meat fresh when they put your sandwich together. It's really worth it.

Organizing the Fridge

I didn't do much today except to clean out the fridge of expired items and organize it to the way I like it (all the condiments on one shelf, all the yogurts and other dairy that doesn't belong in the deli tray on another shelf, all the leftover stuff on the door in easy reach, all the drinks on the top shelf except cartons of milk and OJ in the door, and so forth). I guess that's the accountant in me extending to the fridge (but seriously, I am TIRED of not finding stuff or thinking we don't have this or that opened and opening a new one or buying and opening a new one to find out later on that we already had one opened or even opened and way past expired because it was chucked all the way to the back of the fridge). Also, I organized it so that all of one type is in a column so that I can see every different type that is displayed (like how a vending machine is). I hope it stays this way!!! (except maybe for parties when you just have to fit so many things in the fridge any way that you can)

To be honest, I got the idea of the vending machine concept of viewing the drinks and such from Kim Kardashian on 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' episode "What's Yours is Mine" when she shows her little brother the fridge when he comes to live with her after breaking up with his girlfriend - it's just a great idea! I am also tired of my husband complaining that he thinks I am "hiding" the Sam Adams in the back of the fridge for myself (okay - kind of - it's one of the few beers that I really enjoy - but not really because they just end up in the back behind stuff because I don't drink it all the time since I'm more of a juice girl - especially O.J. - and a Pellegrino girl and they just 'travel' backwards when other things get shoved into the fridge by either my husband or by me).
